Product Description
Lithopone (B311/B301) is an inorganic white pigment composed of a mixture of zinc sulfide (ZnS) and barium sulfate (BaSO₄). It is widely used in paints, coatings, plastics, rubber, paper, inks, and leather, offering excellent whiteness, opacity, and weather resistance. Lithopone is a cost-effective alternative to Titanium Dioxide (TiO₂) with good dispersion and chemical stability.
Production Process
The manufacturing process of Lithopone involves the following steps:
- Raw Material Preparation – Barium sulfate and zinc sulfate are dissolved in water to form a reaction solution.
